This takeover offer appears so silly that it seems most likely that this was set up by the shorts to provide an opportunity to short at a higher level. Its a bit too obvious that it would be exposed. And it makes you wonder whether today's activity represented heavy short covering.

Radcliffe, Mitchell, and Weiss. A fax sent to REXI and probably a phone call to the press which briefly added 50% to the value of REXI stock for a total increase of 100 million dollars. Who says home based businesses aren't profitable?
