Re: Ultra hype?

Bob -

Gee, I don't think so. First, there was no reason to mention Clik! in the Lexmark photoprinter release, because the product doesn't use Clik! It would have been confusing.

Second, the reason that a new release was issued at this time regarding the flash reader in Clik! is that the product is just about to be released.

On a related topic, I find it funny how some people (not you, Bob) act as if their assumptions are facts. For example, Castlewood talked about beta testing for several months. They apparently had nothing else to report.

And now, since Iomega has not reported on any beta testing, it therefore follows that they haven't done any? I never saw any press releases about beta tests for Buz. But I personally participated in the Buz beta tests, so I know they happened.

It's always a big mistake to make conclusions using logical arguments which are based on assumptions. Furthermore, to assume that no OEM testing of Clik! has yet been done is extremely silly, considering that Iomega stated that Clik! test units shipped to OEMs several months ago.
