I do indeed recall that day but today is different in that the present environment is very bearish all around. The NAZ has been taking a brutal punishment these past few days yet the DOW is weathering October RELATIVELY unscathed. DELL, with its very high beta is being particularly hard hit (AMZN has a higher beta but experienced a lower percentage drop over the past few trading sessions). I just hope that when DELL makes its inevitable climb, it will leap instead of step.
