Well Judy

that may be true...but it still was very amazing to me...

i know a lot of technical indicators have been violated...both in stocks and indexes...

but all bets are off if AG does a concerted rate cut...BEFORE the scheduled FOMC....

BTW wasn't DELL's action incredible???? over 100 mill....WOW!!!!!!!

Judy...true, not amazing, dramatic is a better word.. COF and PVN's turnaround was very dramatic and profitable. In my post last night I had mentioned that I thought the NYSE was now ripe for daytrading as well as investing. I've also been including these in my watch list more and more frequently since Monday. I don't ever remember MER,PVN, COF ever having an intraday range like today.

Jenna, you listening to CNBC? They just used the word "dramatic" to described the market recovering.

MER is expected to announce about 2000 cuts next week, and market took that as a ray of hope.
