Anthony,

85-86 is a good trading entry for PFE, robust support established in Mar '98. But I am reading the stock's movement as being motivated by options clearing for strikes 85 and 90, so the trading range could well be 82 1/2 to 92 1/2 for this event.

Do you recall what fundamental news caused the stock to breakout in Mar '98? There is a strong correlation between the strength of a support and the fundamentals that lead to the next leg up.

Until I see the market bottom and PFE stay firm, I'd not take an investment position in PFE. Trading is a whole different strategy.

Anthony,

The news is out. First entry for PFE at mid/low 80's. Second entry at mid-70's if it gets there, I am expecting this level to hold when the market retest its lows and the drug sector bottoms.

Take care.
