OK, time to bitch... 1. Waterhouse just called me at 4:30pm to tell me a limit buy on DELL went though late yesterday at 50 3/8! I guess I'm luckey this position is down only 2 pts, sh*t this was down 10 pts at one point today and I didn't now I had it... probably for the best because I probaby would have dumped it for a bigger loss. Hope it gaps up tommorrow AM. 2. Tried to sell some MOT puts this am (OCT 50's). The specialist would fill or post bid/ask based on the gap down at the open until the stock was up over 1.5 pts. That's the trouble with options, the liquidity just isn't there when you need to trade. I have better luck shorting a couple hundred shares and boxing when I want to cover. thanks for listening, mdb
