Not pessimistic. I try to be objective about the data I get. I buy a developing story, a story that is fundamentally being recognized by the powers that be. That means I have to pay up. So how bad has been my strategy? I'm sitting in the catbird's seat. Those who are long must see macro conditions stabilize and micro conditions develop. I manage OPM, so I have to be on the outside looking in. That's how you become successful. You take risk when it is appropriate to do so. My clients would be perfectly content if I missed ODIS. There's always something better to buy.

My interest in the company goes beyond the stock performance or the management. I like JAVA, OO, LINUX, Objectstore, and would like to see them succeed. We would all be better off.

The last time the stock hit 4, it was on big institutional dumping volume. Today's volume was small in comparison as has been the trend. Most of the blocks today were upticks. That's institutional nibbling and it's a good sign. Nonetheless, I'd prefer to buy at 6 than at 4.
