Now I found out something interesting today. PacBell has a one workstation ADSL solution that only costs $299 for the installation. I hadn't seen that before. A multiple unit installation (aka: DSL router) costs over $1200. So they must be using something VERY different. They're going to call me back and I will inquire. I also will check into products made by Alcatel which I understand is providing their equipment.

Finally, I don't know why they can't put it on a card although my own personal experience with an ISDN router is very favorable.
