You went to a sewer plant on your honey moon? Damn if you ain't a romantic SOB.

Friend of mine is the head guy at the Bloomington/Normal Sanitary District, serves about 150,000 people. He wanted to show me the place and I went.

First stop was a round open tank about 100 feet across covered with bubbles. Asked him about the bubbles and was told they were used condoms. I didn't know there was that much screwing going on in the world. He said that the bacteria in the tank eats the rubbers. A human body in that would lose all flesh in a day, bones would be gone in a week and even the filling would finally dissolve.

Next stop was the sludge drying fields. What a cute little D2 Cat special built dozer they had for spreading the sludge. It would float where a person would sink. That sludge is spread on a field where walnut trees are grown for future cutting as veneer wood.

Last was the final product, clear clean water, better than what comes out of my well he tells me. Now he has sucked down my well water but he wasn't thirsty enough to try his pure product.

Actually Velveeta is a blend of cheeses with moisture added. Makes a nice grilled sandwich.

The difference between deli cheese and prewrapped cheese is the moisture content. The prewrapped stuff is dried more to slow bacteria growth and remove the flavor.
