S.W., First, I sympathize with all you and all the other warriors wounded by WCII. I too lost money buying a chunk at 32 that I dumped at 24. But, like an addicted gambler, I can't help but climb back on every time I'm bucked off. Besides, the horse is now just a mere pony--so I won't have as far to fall next time.

S.W., article over on WSJ-online tonight about the problems w/CLECs. It comes down to investors worried that collapse of junk bond market will restrict CLEC access to cash for build-outs, and worries that poor business conditions may reduce the revenues that CLEC's are predicting and expecting in their business plans. But, despite these problems, Vogel and Grubman are quoted as sticking by their guns in recommending CLECS. The URL follows (must be a subscriber to access):
