Dave, as far as a killer machine for daytrading, what do you think would be better in terms of performance, a single P2 450 or dual P2 350's. The price difference is only a hundred dollars for an NT machine. When I have more than a couple of windows open showing market maker L2 displays for very active stocks (such as DELL, CSCO, or any number of others today), my Pentium 150 bogs down badly even with 128MB of RAM. When you bring up the task manager, it indicates CPU utilization at 100%.

Also, does anyone know if Real Tick III is a multi-threading program?

new IDE formats, USB formats, and eventually FireWire formats are the
future; they will supplant SCSI on the mainstream desktop.

I remember a Death of SCSI type article in a computer mag...... I'll have to dig it out and re-evaluate. Clarence
