Hi Amots, Remember, I am a neophyte, but I think the point of your link was that if we just look at the Dow, we don't realize that the market as a whole went down a lot. I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but it seems to me that if there is a "they" that is doing it, one thing "they" would be cognizant of is how many people believe in the Dow theory. If so, "they" are being careful not to spook the Dow theorists. "They" also seem to be careful not to trigger points followed by other forms of technical analysis. So, that is one major reason why I am impressed, at the finesse. As well as the audacity. Remember, though, I don't know if there is a "they," nor who "they" are if there is. CobaltBlue
