It's like a morgue in here. Over a billion shares traded today and what do we get. Someone pocketed 160.00 less commission today. It's pathetic. I know it's a down market, but THIS down? There's no buyers, no sellers. No interest. Nobody cares. The market is telling us something, however. There's always a leak. I know...You're saying, hey Fred, isn't that illegal? Welcome to investing. Someone would have known by now what the financials will be. They always do. And they tell somebody who tells somebody. If earnings were positive, we would have seen buying trickling in by now. I have a funny suspicion that 1997's earnings will show a loss. Then let the fireworks begin or maybe not. Hear me out. I definitely think if Firamada posts negative numbers for '97, shareholders will file a class action .lawsuit along with many individual lawsuits. They committed fraud. It was that blatant. We have press release after press release, we have recordings of Ira's conference calls, we have articles in Barron's that were bogus, we have pro-formas that were later retracted, however, their intent was obvious and fraudulent when presented to shareholders with no basis whatsoever to back up the numbers. Ira, when called upon, will probably state that he was only relaying company information. It doesn't matter. Arif is liable for Ira's actions plain and simple. Shareholders bought stock under fraudulent pretenses and gross misrepresentations from this company. We all know that and Arif knows that. Don't underestimate Arif. He's an intelligent man, but he lied to and misled shareholders. He knows he did wrong. He has to. Now it's next friday and 1997's earnings show a loss. This will be Arif's biggest lie of all if it comes to fruition. His words,"Or better" are ringing in my ears...........But what if he offered a good faith restitution to shareholders to avoid the inevitable lawsuits that will besiege this company? Now this is all just my opinion so don't get any wild ideas.....But what if Arif offered us a deal? Arif offers to return approx. 30 million shares to bring o/s to a respectable level to pay for his wrongdoings and ,in return, shareholders will not sue him or the company. Then we can put this behind us, wipe the slate clean , give Randy the reigns to this company and get on with it. It's a win-win situation. Arif doesn't pay a big fine and go to jail, shareholders see a light from their dungeon and Randy can prove to us that his focus will benefit us all. If Arif did this , what better way to reconstruct severed relations with shareholders, instill confidence with us, and move the company in a positive direction. If FAMH only nets 2-4 million for '98, which is within reason, well, maybe, with 40 million o/s thats eps of around .075. Not too bad bolstered with a renewed confidence in Arif and Randy if this happens........So what'ya all think? Would you do the deal? I would.....Pro or Con.....and give reasons why. And NO, Famh did not put me up to this. We need a course of action for next week if "Or Better" proves to be a blatant lie.
