As pure BS as this "speculation" may be, it is consistent with what 3Dfx told me. The avenger will be the follow up to Banshee that should be ready for sampling in early Q1 99 (hence the Jan date) and will be sampled then and ship in Q2 99 (3Dfx did say that the banshee follow up may have 32MB of ram), and STT will be the "Rampage" which Ballard said should appear in mid 99. Since you want to show that your hw has sw support before you market it, the sw developement time frame seems reasonable to me. Of course this may still be pure BS and idle speculation. Sun Tzu
