Del,

Thank you for your reply. I am far from an expert in stock valuation, and I no longer have a position in the stock. It seems to me,however, that the fact of an SEC investigation was made public by the company as well as Velmer (although they described it differently). If there was a panic, which statement caused it?

If indeed the SEC investigates all aspects of the company, one would expect that the concerns raised on this board about the trading volume would be put to rest (see, e.g. post number 2829). In that event, one would also expect that you folks are sitting on a gold mine.

Good luck.

Del, excellent post. Seems you have read my mind.

As much as many invested here will hate to admit it, there is still that small seed of doubt growing roots in our minds. If that weren't so then Velmer's statements would have had very little impact. The lack of a filing forces investors to rely strictly on info from company press releases, the company web site and numerous posters on messages boards. Not exactly the most objective sources you can get. The SEC filing will give current and prospective investors the authenticity of all previous info given, and thus the confidence to hold for a much longer period of time.

Sorry to say that the longer they wait, the more impact a negative manipulator can have. It's human nature to be a little skeptical at this point. Any ramifications of a potential squeeze should not be playing a part in the timing of a SEC filing, imo.
