Mark: Need lessons on overhead studies, master. Here's the extended boomer alert that I wrote some time ago: alertmarker(prev(h,2) = prev(hhv(h,60),2) and prev(h,1)<= prev(h,2) and prev(h,0)<= prev(h,2) and prev(l,1)>= prev(l,2) and prev(l,1)>= prev(l,2) The only gold to alert today from my database was CNPGF, a penny and not a viable trader. The problem with the alert is it only signals the setup start of the extention - there's no easy way to keep watching for further extensions except to put the stock in a watch list and continue to visually check it. I haven't back checked for the past t week yet to see if there are other stocks that are on the extension, but given the movement in golds, I doubt there are any yet. Will watch TVX and try to learn. Tonite's scans - (so far) Lizard Bulls: BCDM,DBLE GQRVF, SSC (I'll pass on these); Reversal New Highs: CBJ (will watch to see how AUX does tomorrow) 180 w/ ADX<16: BE, MNRCY, RIC, USGL. Am working on a MACD-STOCH scan that looks promising; an adaptation of some of Joe DiNapoli's work. Like his fib analysis and his book (DiNapoli Levels) is excellent reading and great reminders on risk and money management strategies - a good complement to Cooper's H & R II.
