Also note the huge premiums in October calls. With one week to go, very unusual.

You are right! I had to buy back my OCT 55 call @2.375 when RMBS was trading @50...I should have been able to buy this call back at around $1-$1.25...Very strong demand indeed and a big volatility premium built in with only 6 trading days left..
