Jason,

I now on the outside it looks and feels like cpq is just moving with the market but when you look at the trading from inside you see a boat load of big blocks going at or BELOW the bid everytime there is a market bounce, no matter what the price. The bounces are almost always small blocks (<1k shares) that take the price up and then the second a large bid is put on the table it is immediately filled. Historically, this is not a good pattern and that is why I am concerned about some news related to the dec integration that none of us has heard about yet....

Otherwise, why would anyone be buying gtw or dell in the 40's when you could get cpq who will be making almost as much (gtw) or more (dell) per qtr if Q4 goes as planned.....something just does not smell right to me. At these prices and with those earnings estimates this puppy should be bouncing like a rabbit when the market sell programs stop....instead it continues to be sold at these times.

I really think it is dec related and they are either losing business or they just cant cut costs as fast as they thought....This is a tough one because if cpq does say they can hit current estimates next Q it SHOULD (even in this environment) move to 30 after earnings, but if they don't it will likely move to 20 instead.

Just my opinion and still trying to scratch out what is really making these guys so eager to sell even at these prices
