Hi Paul,

Interesting point you had on denomination origins however I don't see the true Church as having been swallowed up entirely by the RC's or it would have been lost in that institutions doctrines. Not that God couldn't have preserved it anywhere.
Remember Elijah thinking he was all alone in I Kings 19 yet the Lord reserved 7000 unto Himself.
Greek Orthodox lay claim to being older than the RC's too.
I don't see all denominational labels as bad but I do prefer sticking with just good o'l bible believing Christian as sufficient unless pressed.
For me Revelation 17 figures prominently on this topic.

God bless,
John

How's the Hand-ball player doing these days?
Hear any more from Steve C.?
Miss him around here---unless he has a handle I don't know about.
He was a breath of fresh air.
Trust all is going well with you.

"I give fair warning to all who hear the words of the prophecy of this book: If you add to the words of this prophecy, God will add to your life the disasters written in this book; if you subtract from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will subtract your part from the Tree of Life and the Holy City that are written in this book.
"He who testifies to all these things says it again: 'I'm on my way! I'll be there soon!"
"Yes! Come, Master Jesus!
"The grace of the Master Jesus be with all of you. Oh, Yes!"

Revelation's final words.
