Eric, your reasoning sound fine, particularly if RNTK no longer needs to draw on the leaky floorless. At 40 MM shares, you need to have some visibility of $4 MM in profit within the next three years, to justify the current price and price increases will require visibility of growth in this figure. That is not out of the question. They surely cut this one close to the wire, I would say. It would be interesting to see the details of the deal and what "sharing" means. Typically a GTL "plant" goes for about 25 to $30 MM (this I believe is a small capacity of about 1000 barrels per day, this figure should be rechecked, I got it from a colleague but cannot verify it), so i think that now RNTK's price will also depend on the price of crude, since new facilities will probably await rise in crude to a point where the GTL plants become cost effective.
