REH,

SP and NAZ futures not up as much as I expected, we'll have to wait until Asia opens to get a read on tomorrow. After the action in the banks and the brokers, I expect some bounceback tomorrow, but I've been known to be wrong!

You've got to love thestreet.com, check this out.

The plummeting tech stocks seemed to be of paramount concern to everyone in Silicon Valley and all points nearby.

Outside Caffe Roma in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood, a homeless man with a long, ragged beard, a tattered herringbone sports jacket, bright blue socks and worn New Balance sneakers sat transfixed, reading the Chronicle. The headline: "Nasdaq Drops to 15-Month Low." While stroking the neck of a black kitten in his lap, he shook his head. "Looks bad, man," he said. "Looks real bad."

-- Cory Johnson

I think he's now called a "relocation specialist", and he's giving advise to high tech workers on where to "stay" for the night. Good night.
