lisa, I know that the dow is manipulated. It's 30 stocks. If you get half to go up, we're even for the day. Yippee! The money men are trying to keep their gravy train going a little longer. The IMF will get their 18 billion tomorrow/this weekend and the market will rally tomorrow/monday on the news. I'm thinking of rolling out to Nov. tomorrow on my puts but still know that this chart usually tells the tale:http://www.marketgauge.com/charts/CSPCMEM.htm Question is, do they unload next week or the one after? hammers everywhere in individual stocks, plus in the dow. I think it's going to be buy the fact (impeachment inquiry) as far as that is concerned. The outcome of today's vote was already a near-certainty, but WS likes to move in advance of an event, then change direction afterwards...like YHOO retained the helium even in a market breaking down until one day prior to earnings, when "the fact" of earnings release was imminent. Not to mention the "severely oversold" status of many stocks, and the "beaten to a bloody pulp" status of many many more. HYSL jumped from 13 to 13 7/8 in the space of a few minutes near the close. rally tomorrow. too bad I'm out of funds. stuck with stock and Oct RUT calls, both under water. The RUTs are 340 variety, bought on Tues AM fakeout. ouch..
