A computer is more versatiletool than most of the clunkers GM made in the 60's-70's-80's.Acertain premium should be paid to a company for ingenuity and innovation. The price you pay for things relates to the premium you put on it.For instance,is MRI of the breast worth $2200? I'd rather have a computer with Intel processor for that kind of money than a study that is equivocal and not diagnostic. Intel should be rewarded for its innovation which has improved the quality of life. There are many inventions that are expensive that do not improve the quality of life. The new Gillette razor is exorbitantly expensive considering the track record of other blades on the market.Your views toward Intel are somewhat biased, like mine considering whether you're short or long the stock.Let's not talk about expensive wasteful products...remember we live in a society which rewards expediency and NOT quality!
