Arnie, Russ, & All You Padre Fans, (OFF TOPIC)
That was some real good "old fashioned" hardball last night. Can anyone actually remember the last night they saw a pitcher's uniform get dirty unless he was involved in a fight? Kevin Brown really showed me something besides the fact that he is a great pitcher. Diving into bases, etc.. It's truly refreshing to see some high-priced athletes putting in an honest day's work. One concern I have is that Trevor might now be too rested with having at least two days off as he will be needed before this is said and done. Most pitchers that rely on sinking fast balls tend to not have the real good sinking action if they get too strong. I'm sure Dave Stewart is aware of this and might have him actually throw a little batting practice on their off-day workout. Best of luck for the rest of the series.
