Oh man is this good. We finally get to see some of the arrogant Dellheads begin to realize that Dell is not immune to the "down" word.

andy, dell has performed admirably. however, the nikkei index proved it was worth lofty levels for a long time, too. your fundamental assumption is very naive, imho. the past doesn't guarantee the future.

many stocks have been high flyers for extended periods of time and then been butchered. measuring performance to the top of bubble markets is not wise, imho.

i suspect this q will be good, if not great. EXPECT a slowdown in 1999.
