John, in this kind of volatile market with a strong downward bias, it's better to stick with big caps which have corrected. I've been selling most of my dogs (except for cyclical techs such as SEG and AMAT) and switched into big caps today (stocks like LU, DELL, ATI, CSCO, EMC, WCOM, GE or some of the big pharmas). I already have a big position in PFE so I haven't added more today, but at $86 + it sure would be a good buy: it's price is now still at pre-Viagra approval level. If the market really tanks, at least I am holding stocks with good fundamentals that are market leaders and have a better chance of going back up eventually.

Looking forward to next week's earnings report...

Anthony
