So 3dfx is very excited about their upcoming...add campaign. So they are, in effect, pre-hyping the hype. I'm underwhelmed.

Chip, you're the man. Good call.

Hey, Sharky says on Oct 12 TDFX will launch an ad campaign pushing SLI! This is really cool! Evidently, you can hook up 2 V2 cards and get some awesome power! Good thing TDFX didn't let the cat out of the bag! This'll take nVidia by storm! Can't wait to see what other tricks ol' TDFX has up its sleeves!

Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention that I let that fool over at OGR have a little piece of my mind. Can't believe that somebody with such little information would use his power (on-line presence) to basically slander TDFX. His logic: how could nVidia be infringing on TDFX since they use a single chip vs. multiple TMUs? Stellar.

As a side note, if the oct 12 deal is only SLI ad, then TDFX will truly be proving how poorly they manage expectations: Banshee speed, release date, Q3 earnings, and now a tight-lipped zero of an ad campaign.
