Ibexx - Re: " There is a real chance that Michael Gumport of Lehman Brothers might work at Burger King:"

You mean Michael Gumport, late of Lehman.

I doubt that any of these companies - Salomon, Merril, Lehman, etc. let the lame brain analysts anywhere near the REAL MONEY and influence investment decisions.

I'm sure they have some multi-million dollar salaried brain-dead executives loan uncollateralized money to these crazy hedge funds and Ponzi schemes.

God forbid they should loan money to a company like Intel that might invent and manufacture something and provide real jobs to real people.

Unfortunately, the damage they have done - investing in high-fallootin' unreal, intangible derivatives and Russian Hot Dog factories is going to hurt us all.

Paul

Ibexx, >>>There is a real chance that Michael Gumport of Lehman Brothers might work at Burger King.<<<

When was it, back in the 70's that there were five stock brokers/analysts or something like that applying for every NYC taxi driver opening?

Tony

p.s., you said last night on the Rambus thread that this was the bottom. Now, you're making good on that, right? ;-}
