Ibexx--

Interested in your postings and following what you are seeing in the market. I've been holding off buying back in for the following reason:

Unstable markets like this one usually are identified by a very dramatic one day fall where almost everything gets caught in a powerful downdraft. This is then followed by a strong rebound within the next few days. Happened last year, in '87, etc. It has not happened yet this year. I believe it will happen.

I know different stocks hit their bottom at different times. There are some attractive long term values out there, but unlike you, I am having a hard time hitting the "buy" button.

By your actions "bought CSCO this morning", I take it you have decided to average in with your purchases. What is your plan? What is the thinking behind buying some stock now? Why aren't you waiting for what seems like a great opportunity sometime in the near future?

I respect your experience in this and appreciate any comments.
