Dwight, no disrespect, but I don't understand your point.

What has Rodino to do with the essential issue here? The Democratic proposal restricted the impeachment inquiry to the Starr referral, as well as to any subsequent referrals he might make (on other "gates"), while the Republican proposal was for an open-ended inquiry into any charges anybody might make (however unsubstantiated).

I don't see the parallel with the Nixon inquiry. Perhaps you can enlighten me.
