Agree 100%, except I see the DOW eventually losing 60% from it's top in this summer, which will take it to a little under 4000 eventually. Your analogy of musical chairs is a perfect one. Some people thought the music would never stop and there would always be plenty of chairs for everyone. This is all about capital preservation on a global scale. When LTC failed, it was another sign of the high level of desperation. LTC was just the tip of the iceberg. Many will NEVER recover from this. They'll rejoice when they think the Bull has returned, and then an overnight whipsaw will split their fortune to threads and darkness will settle across the land for a long cold winter...

PRESERVE YOUR CAPITAL!!!

A very well written macro essay, on the global situation we are currently in, from Armstrong at the Princeton Economic Institute.
