Capitan, Thanks for the conceptual synopsis. Pretty much intuited the basic mechanics reading between recent threadlines, but the devil (read genius) is always in the details. So bring on the chloroformed critters, any pertinent anatomical diagrams and I'll sharpen my scalpel. Pinning that ID label to my left earlobe for easy recognition. Nice post Doug, I was worried I could not explain it to the new super coder lab rat Craig...>g< Now for those not familiar with a 3rsi paste, here are some numbers. It might explain the fever hunt on the comkey. Using the typical 56 prescan, over the last 30 trading days the rsi pop gets 56 hits. the average gain is 23.54%. the number of > 5% gainers are 92.16% the number of losers are 13.73%...now note that the 7 losers are from one stock below 1 buck, it is also a repeat pop so remove that one and what do you have??????????? 100% gainers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was completely psyched when I first started investigating this, and then overwhelmed at finding the comkey...which mind you will find these little buggers bdog

And then there's anti pasta.... same scan, but for the upside down trick. 691 hits! avg gain 25.56% number of > 5% gain 97.97% number of losses .14% or 1! now switch gears Dougster and find the anti comkey.. LOL ther is almost no failures with the paste and anti paste, the failure is with the comkey... recent comkey build... from typ 56 scan of last 30 days... 4 hits, no losses, no pastes, avg gain 3.94%, 1 at >5% or 25% from common database 63 hits, 28% at > 5%gains, 34.92 losers zero, nada, zippo pastes....bumeer back to work bdog [edit] i'll send the rats the historical scan. i still have to run it for a bull, maybe craig will find all the mistakes in it and will determine we have it after all!!! >g<
