I am confused about why the dollar is losing so much ground...
The TV said it was hedge funds. They fingered one in particular, the name was something like Tiger Enterprises but I swear it was not me.

Bill, there are several reasons for the decline in the value of the dollar. First, is that interest rates are expected to decrease which makes the dollar less attractive as you can earn higher yields elsewhere. Next, there is a large amount of political unstability and also the situation in Brazil & Hong Kong is a big question mark on whether they can maintain pegs to the dollar. Hope this helps.
