If they gap, I'm in. This isn't necessarily a safe practice, but since I will watch for that in the first few minutes of trading, if its a huge gap I will just sell and maybe short, and if its just a minor gap, it will be fine. Basically, though if its somewhere in between, I will just test my emotional detachment from material things... Actually, what I really do if I don't know is get up and walk out of the office and forget about it for about 15 minutes. About 75% of the time that was the better course of action rather than agonizing over it or making too fast a decision. ls
