<< For all the give and take I can't see one person who has changed their mind one way or the other. >>

Unwarranted expectations.

<< What a waste of time. >>

Depends upon what you want out of this thread. I don't consider it a forum to change someones mind, but for an exchange of ideas.

I've learned from this thread since I joined a few days ago. I've also met some pretty interesting people.

When I first encountered this thread, coincidently, there were nothing but nasty sounding Clinton haters. I've always assumed that Internet users were, by and large, conservatives. The Internet polls on MSNBC are always heavily in the conservative camp.

I just assumed that, if a moderate wanted to discuss politics, especially the Clinton scandal, the moderate would have to suffer thru very little support from fellow moderates, and would have to endure countless attacks from conservatives, a lot of them nasty for some reason.

What a pleasant surprise when I found out that there is a substantial informed and rational, moderate force in membership here. It reinforces my faith in my fellow American.

So, to some, this thread is a waste of time, to others, it is a forum for enlightenment.

Regards, Bob

Ive become enlightened on a few things. Specifically this article opened my eyes a little regarding Clinton the man. You are correct however in that I will never change my mind regarding the "seriousness" of this so called crime and the motivation for the investigation. But it is not true that everyone here is absolutely steadfast in their beliefs.
