It won't be like yesterday but I am buying OCT 47.50 puts.

The market today looks heavy S&P futures just ran out of gas. Dell looks down.

Dell trading 4 mil shares every ten minutes????????
This is crazy, crazy.Somebody, somewhere is wrong.
Can read it as someone did buy those 102 mil shares yesterday and I hope they are the ones who know what they are doing. To make butter, you have to churn at a steady slow speed, too fast and you just get curds and whey(If I remember right)

Patrick! I made the most incredible options trade this a.m. I bought 200 contracts (20K shares) of Jan 2001 85s, and sold-covered 200 Jan 2001 90s. Now the beauty of it is that for a five dollar spread, I only paid $1! That's right, one dollar. So, if DELL goes up 100% between now and Jan 2001, my investment goes up 400%. It's a miracle, IMO, that the market maker did the deal. I thought that they would've laughed at me. Aside from a DELL bankruptcy, I don't see how it is possible for me to lose any money on this deal at worst.

My $20K investment will probably be worth $100K within the next year or so, and all financed (mostly) out of the sale of the Jan 2001 90s.

I'm afraid I used up all of my good karma. Should've done 500 contracts!

Reagards,

LoD
