<<Let's take this one step further>>

All of the examples you cite are good ones. However, if even one of them happened, the officials involved would find themselves in jail, and the company would go out of business. There would be more incentive on the remaining companies to self-police. By trying to protect everyone from unscrupulous scoundrels, you cause people to place an unjustified amount of faith in the government to protect them.

<<These products will be readily available to children>>

I have no problem with regulations restricting children's access to various items or substances. Of course, the same issues I discussed above would apply.

<<HEY! Get to work!>>
Aww dad - can't I stay up just a little later??

Hey Bob, Have you heard? Bill Clinton is a Liar. In his last speech he said, "Ultimately it is in the hands of God." Now, I know Michelle is cringing as she wishes he wouldn't do stuff like that, because she believes it to be hypocritical. That is, she's convinced he doesn't believe anything is in the hands of God, so he must be lying again to the American people on where they should put their trust, to get away with something. The lying part doesn't bother her. She knows he's lying all the time and that's Ok with her as long as the sacred cow, "abortion" issue isn't touched, and because he's just an attractive guy who should be left alone to spread himself over whichever herd he is interested in. She's sure that the RR, which she claims is a pitiful minority, would rise up and some how swing a coup on her issue. There in lies the problem.

What about you? You think you need to continue supporting a lying, hypocrite so that your issues stay in tact? Or, would you say he is wrong it isn't in the hands of God, but you want to support a leader that doesn't have a clue. Or, is he right about everything being in the hands of God? Or, is Bill toast?
