I'm predicting the US markets open up and continue up with maybe a record point move on the upside possible today. IF the DJIA can break through about 7900, as shown on the chart, then we might be able to say our bottom was placed and it won't be revisited for awhile.

Could be a bold prediction, Kirk, if it isn't too full of exit doors or contingencies, and if all prerequisits are met. Written by a true student of Brinker.<G>

I guess I'm just not too bright, so pardon me for this dumb question: Are you just trying to be insulting to Dipy, or did you have a point to make with your "Dipy indicator?" If you had a point, I missed it entirely.

My reading is the indicator is extreme to the bear side (i.e. some now think the Dipster is wonderfully witty) at this time and so I say the contrarian indicator is pointing to a raging buy.

I see. But you do have "outright buy" and "gift-horse buy" kept in storage just in case the market tumbles further, don't you? ;-)
