Paul, Datek insurance covers only 100k in cash. Keep in mind that they do not sweep cash into a money market account. A money market fund is a security, not cash. FWIW, I pulled all my money out except for a small amount, and they wired it to my bank in a reasonable period of time. Of course the reason I didn't take it all is because the stupid system wouldn't let me when I tried to withdraw the entire amount. It kept giving the message that the most I could withdraw was the amount which I was trying to withdraw.

Datek still owes me some interest for September. I wonder why they can't get that paid in a timely fashion.

Barb

I got a statement Datek's of financial condition with my August account statement. I guess you could ask them to send it if you didn't get it.
