Hmm, you don't believe that if nobody ever said anything negative stocks would do nothing but rise, and we'd all get rich and be able to laugh at the foolish short sellers begging on the street? Shame on you! <g>

Actually short selling probably tends to extend the period of high prices since shorters try to sell stock away when everybody wants it and buy it back when it is much less popular.

I've been thinking of going long Loews (LTR) for quite a while. Now market edge have put a buy on it too. Any opinions?
