Bucky, LU has surprised used just about every acquisition so far. Maybe LU wants to buy COMS so they can sell off all the enterprise switching stuff, and keep the NIC and modem biz :)

how much testing would be needed to put out a compatitive qudt-lu product without the xyln switch? If it's more than a few months then lu will be behind in the game. Too many other companies out there cranking out product and many buyers may not wish to wait around for lu's product, no matter how good it will be. Doing something with xyln in some way would be very time saving for LU.
