This leads to my basic question. Explain the mineralogy. How can anyone design a recovery method if they don't know the minerals that contain the precious metals.

I can still hear my instructor in Met 412, Ore Dressing; "The first thing you have to determine is what minerals are present in the ore, then you can select your recovery method."

That was the speculation a few years ago (IPM time frame), but current thinking and mapping technology is now focusing on the paleo-channels. The PR maxamgold.com uses that new technology. IMO get off your dead ass, leave your trailer down by the river and find out what's going on. Better cover.
