I was responding to your last paragraph which referred to the other potential issues in the Impeachment Inquiry --- Travel Office Firings, FBI Files, Health Care Task Force, Sale of Missile Technology to Chinese, Campaign Fundraising, Sale of Seats on Trade Missions, Rose Law Firm, Whitewater, Castle Grande, Cattle Futures/Tyson Foods Bribery, etc... Coverups extended to those scandals in which the Hillary half of the Clinton presidency was involved.

The obstruction of justice in this case refers to the use of private investigators on the prosecutors, the attempt to gather evidence and to withhold it from the courts, the attempt to coordinate false testimony, and the quid pro quo on the New York City jobs for the false affidavit.

I certainly don't defend Nixon any more than I would defend Clinton. They both wouldn't have been prosecuted if not for tape evidence and for a partner who couldn't keep a secret.

This impeachment process is not about fair play. It's modelled after the Watergate Hearings, which was every bit as partisan. One could see this coming after the Thomas-Hill hearings.

Daniel: "We all know that in legal matters precedents are generally considered totally irrelevant." Despite the attempt at cynicism, it seems misdirected. What "precedents" were set in any of the historical dodges you keep bringing up that have any legal bearing on the Clinton matter?
