E:

Do you remember that post that I had pulling information
from LSI's site showing how seemingly unappetizing they made
their "TechLibrary" area? You know the access thing, the CIA
thing, the customers-are-our-enemies thing! <g>

Well I'll be bowled over! Guess what. They changed it to LSI Links
(it is on their home page for now) AND everything is MUCH better
now. You can even register as a Guest and thereby check out
the interesting stuff! Plus they removed that evil customers-are-our-
enemies language! Amazing. (Of course for whatever reason I can't
get in to register as a guest! Must have put me in the dog house
ineligible list... <g>).

Quite pleased! The thing looks really professional and classy now!

Plus I recently saw in a survey somewhere that the top 4 digital cameras at retail are Sony's Mavica (2 models - 1st and 4th), Minolta's Dimage (2nd or 3rd?) and Casio's QV-11 (2nd or 3rd?).

And guess who does the digital camera chips for the above. You got
it! (though I have to say I am not absolutely certain about which
models LSI has their chips in - nevertheless these are the big wigs -
have you seen anything about who does the chips for Kodak - for awhile
there I thought it may be LSI - but maybe not...)

O yes and the market sucks and all chicken-sh** market running cowards suck - this is how the tech areas are doing fundamentally using "my multifaceted nefarious sources" - networking (esp. data) up, wireless communications up (infrastructure weak), PC clearly up . So there is nowhere close to the tech-wreck fundamental damage the market is assuming at these prices. Everyone is shooting first and asking questions later. But hey what do I know?

We shall see who's right.

In any case I am outta here for awhile. Since I have
no interest in selling I do not see the point of getting
myself messed up in this highly frightened market. If I am forced
to sell then so be it. I'll check back sometime in the next
couple of months.

Bye!

Shane.
