You make several valid points. However, RR began his "crusade" in early '97, to the best of my recollection. His negativity did not waver from the beginning until now. If you look at the chart for IOM from January through November of '97, you'll see that his predictions of lower prices were wrong throughout.

The fortunes of Iomega changed in the last quarter of '97, and since then RR has been "right" since he, naturally, maintained his negativity.

But the reason I don't think his analysis can be trusted is that his negative bias with respect to Iomega is far too obvious. Knee-jerk negativity doesn't constitute rational thinking, whether one happens to be right about the stock's direction or not.

Of course, you can believe who you want to believe.
