The entire financial market sector is up today. So it's not surprising that REXI is getting a bit of support, although small at that. I am keeping REXI as a short and will do so even if it doubles, unless something fundamental changes. It is a small part of my portfolio. The only way to hold shorts is to diversify. If you are nervous about the price action, cover some until you reach an exposure with which you are comfortable.

I'm with you prof.

This REXI stuff is the weirdest thing I've ever seen, with Roy's buyout, the followup suit in under 48 hours, and the way the stock is trading. There is something going on, and anyone who thinks they understand it without inside info is crazy.

Anyone who isn't in the know and buys in right now, short or long, is just gambling. Doesn't mean there won't be a big payoff, but the risk is too high for me.
