Re -- I think that was 25% less for a CPU + MB combo.

Its 25% less for CPU + MB (with AGP slot and 100Mhz bus) + Memory combo.

For systems with a super7, the MB+Memory can be significantly larger than the Celeron MB+Memory

Thus AMD will have to sell their chips MUCH LESS than 25% below the price of the Celeron (given that the performance of Celeron 333 is equivalent or better than the K6-2-350).

With the increase in R&D expenses next Q, AMD will be hard pressed to make a profit, unless they use MORE of their $580M in cash to massage the books.
