Tell Charlie Boy when he finally gets me the Britannia Beenie Baby; that i want the real McCoy not the counterfeit. BTW, intelligent chatter like this belongs on si alyd so we can go to #1 on si. In fact , i demand a recount since our last few posts on stock swap really belong to alyd!

Jeff

The baseball cards are usually hard to conterfit. There are some M.J. counterfit Fleer 86 basketball cards. I don't think Bennie Babies are going away easy. I belive TY is traded publicly, i renember reading something about them a while back. Hey just my two cents and a chance to get a 00 post.

Sorry Jeff, Ty is not publicly traded. CYRK is a marketing company that the company uses which is traded (and is featured on Ty's website - ty.com ), but not a very pure "Beanie play" if that's what you're looking for. The Beanie thing seems to be on the decline anyway.

I have an inside source (aka "the kid"). She says there's nothing "cool" right now, but I have her on retainer (litterally) for future insights and I'll pass on any tips.
