Dear doug,

Far from ever aiming a nasty comment at you I am nad ahve always been very please to read your posts.

1. We are only just at the beginning of this mess whcih really started to get nasty as I recall it around the beginnig of August.

2. I think we can agree that at least we are talking a bout the only comparison being 1929.

3. In 1929 the World was not faced with the plethora of both political and economic problems and on such a scale as it is today.

4. In 1929 although there was leverage and margin to a far greater extent than is at first sight usual today you simply didn't have the escalator effect of instantaneous world communications and the global market. These two factors combine to make the problem substantially worse.

I may sound hysterical but I'm just a bit frustrated as we all are and letting off a bit of steam here with people who have got to know eachother in a way unimaginable only a deecade or so ago is I think allowable and I don't mind it from others who are clearly supporters of our WCII.

Best regards,

L
