For your info, it isn't PC100 memory that a socket 7 board requires but a slot 1 board does not. It's the memory for L2 cache that's needed. Equal amounts of PC100 memory are required for both 100 MHz bus socket 7 and high slot 1 based boxes. When you say "My computer has 128 meg of RAM", you're talking about (in the case of 100 MHz bus computers) the PC100 SDRAM inside. Always glad to be of assistance, Kevin
