Thank you, Stockman, for proving you know nothing about computers.

For your info, it isn't PC100 memory that a socket 7 board requires but a slot 1 board does not. It's the memory for L2 cache that's needed. Equal amounts of PC100 memory are required for both 100 MHz bus socket 7 and high slot 1 based boxes. When you say "My computer has 128 meg of RAM", you're talking about (in the case of 100 MHz bus computers) the PC100 SDRAM inside.
